On September 23, the 120th anniversary of Hohhot No.1 Middle School was solemnly celebrated. During this period, the "Low Carbon Campus" of Hohhot No.1 Middle School, which was invested and constructed by TCL Central New Energy, was officially unveiled. Zhang Haifeng, Deputy Secretary of Hohhot Municipal Party Committee, Wei Xue, Vice President of TCL Technology Group and Chairman of TCL Public Welfare Foundation, Wang Wenmei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of Hohhot Education Bureau, and Ma Bo, Principal of Hohhot No.1 Middle School, jointly launched the low-carbon campus project and awarded the school a license.
Hohhot No.1 Middle School "Low Carbon Campus" project has an installed capacity of 183.15 kW, using TCL Zhonghuan G12 high-efficiency shingled components, which can provide about 6.73 million degrees of green electricity in the whole life cycle of the product, equivalent to saving about 2697 tons of standard coal and reducing about 6723 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. It reduces the emission of waste gas and dust by about 2138 tons, which is equivalent to planting 290000 trees. While bringing economic benefits to the school and responding to the national call for energy conservation and environmental protection, TCL Zhonghuan has set up a public welfare fund for photovoltaic student aid with the gain of photovoltaic power generation to create a sustainable student aid model and promote the sustainable development of education and teaching with green technology.
On the same day, the photovoltaic low-carbon campus project of nine schools in Hohhot and Linger County No.1 Middle School, which was donated by TCL Central New Energy, was unveiled. The installed capacity of the photovoltaic power generation system of each school in the project is 55kW, with an average annual power generation of 76,400 kWh. In the whole life cycle of the project, it can bring benefits of about 6.6166 million yuan to 9 schools. While realizing the utilization of green and clean power on campus, it can also bring power generation benefits to schools and help the development of rural education.
At present, TCL Central has donated 20 photovoltaic campuses, with a total installed capacity of 1218.15 kW, and its 25-year power generation income is about 13.9 million yuan, contributing to the high-quality development of education and teaching in rural areas.
