From January to August, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment in China was 2423 hours, 76 hours less than same period last year. Of which, 1,984 hours for hydropower, 469 hours less than same period last year; 907 hours for solar power, 40 hours less than same period last year; 5,116 hours for nuclear power, 121 hours more than same period last year; 1,538 hours for wind power, 79 hours more than same period last year; 2,999 hours for thermal power, 67 hours more than same period last year.
From January to August, China's major power generation enterprises invested 470.3 billion yuan in power supply projects, an increase of 46.6% over the same period last year. Among them, solar power was 187.3 billion yuan, up 82.7% year-on-year; nuclear power was 52.2 billion yuan, up 56.9% year-on-year; wind power was 114.9 billion yuan, up 38.7% year-on-year. Power grid projects completed investment of 270 billion 500 million yuan, an increase of 1.4% over the same period last year.
