on September 9, the first centralized photovoltaic project of China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) in Shanghai, Shanghai Chongming Port West Fishery Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project, was connected to the grid with full capacity. CGN
Shanghai Chongming Port West Fishery Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project has an installed capacity of 158 MW, which is implemented in two phases. It is the second "double recruitment and double attraction" major talent project in Shanghai and one of the green projects for Chongming District to build a world-class ecological island. After the project is put into operation, the annual average power generation will reach 172 million kilowatt-hours, the annual consumption of standard coal will be reduced by more than 70000 tons, the emission of carbon dioxide will be reduced by about 149000 tons, and the environmental benefits will be equivalent to planting 59000 mu of forest, which will greatly increase the proportion of clean energy in the region. It is of positive significance to build a green low-carbon production and life concept, create beautiful countryside, build a world-class ecological island and build a new energy system in Shanghai.
Up to now, the total installed capacity of CGN's domestic new energy projects has exceeded 35 million kilowatts, and more than 550 new energy stations distributed throughout the country have continuously exported green power, continuously helping to achieve the goal of "double carbon" and contributing clean energy to the construction of a beautiful China.
