On December 28, according to the official micro-blog of Jingke Energy, Jingke Energy recently received orders from the energy storage market in the Middle East. The order will utilize JinkoSolar's liquid-cooled SunTera BESS with a project capacity of up to 515 MWh. The PV module capacity of the
project is 730 MWac and 1020 MWdc, while the energy storage capacity will reach 515 MWh. Once the project is put into operation, it is expected to become one of the major ground power station energy storage projects in the Middle East.
It is reported that SunTera uses patented liquid cooling technology, and the temperature difference between batteries is controlled within 2.5 C, reaching the lowest level at present. By avoiding the cask effect caused by the uneven temperature of the battery, the system can prolong the service life of the battery, greatly improve the charging and discharging efficiency, and better adapt to the harsh climate environment in the Middle East.
