On December 27, the foundation laying ceremony of the European photovoltaic leader Voltula China Headquarters Base and R & D Center project was held in Wuzhong High-tech Zone, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The total investment of the project is 200 million euros (about 1.6 billion yuan). The project was signed on October 24, 2022. According to
the data, Futurasun S. R. L (Voltura), founded in 2008 and headquartered in Italy, is a diversified company integrating research, development, manufacture and sales of solar crystalline silicon cells and photovoltaic modules, and is the leading European photovoltaic enterprise. On January 20, 2023, Jiangsu Futula New Energy Group Co., Ltd. was established.
Voltura will build its China headquarters and R & D center in Wuzhong District to help innovate the core technology of solar crystalline silicon cells and photovoltaic modules. Voltula China Headquarters will make full use of a series of industrial chain supporting resources such as photovoltaic and new energy in East China to build a photovoltaic module R & D and production base.
In addition, on September 15, the Futula (Huaian) high-efficiency battery production base project started in Qingjiangpu District. This project is an important beginning for Voltula Group to lay out the vertically integrated photovoltaic production capacity, which can form an annual production capacity of 10g W high-efficiency solar cells and 2G W high-efficiency modules, with an average annual sales revenue of 11 billion yuan.
