On December 20, Honeycomb Energy held its first battery pack offline ceremony in Sriracha Chonburi, Chonburi, Thailand. Zhang Feng, Senior Vice President of Honeycomb Energy and President of Asia-Pacific Region, Banpu NEXT CEO Sinon, and relevant persons in charge of Great Wall Automobile and United Automobile, Chen Lei, General Manager of Honeycomb Energy Thailand Factory, witnessed the scene.
It is reported that Honeycomb Energy Thailand Factory is a joint venture between Honeycomb Energy Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Honeycomb Energy, and Banpu NEXT, a subsidiary of Banpu (Wanpu), an international energy giant. It mainly focuses on on-board power batteries, 2-3 wheelbarrow batteries, energy storage, recycling and other fields. Since the project officially started construction in July this year, it has overcome various difficulties and has been upgraded from factory building to product offline in just five months.
