December 21, Three Gorges Energy announced that the board of directors of China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as the company) received a written resignation report from Wang Wubin, chairman of the company, on December 20, 2023.
Due to job changes, Wang Wubin resigned as chairman, director and chairman of the Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee of the second board of directors of the company. After his resignation, Wang Wubin will no longer hold any position in the company and its subsidiaries.
According to the resolution of the sixteenth meeting of the second session of the board of directors of the Company, it was agreed that Zhang Long, a director of the Company, would perform the duties of the chairman (legal representative) and preside over the relevant work of the board of directors and the strategy and sustainable development committee of the board of directors of the Company on his behalf until the new chairman was elected by the board of directors of the Company.
On the same day, Three Gorges Energy announced that recently, the 2 million kilowatt photovoltaic sand control project of Kubuqi, a Mengxi base invested by Inner Mongolia Kubuqi Photohydrogen Sand Control New Energy Co., Ltd., was connected to the grid in Hangjin Banner, Ordos City.
It is reported that Kubuqi Photovoltaic Sand Control Project is the first large-scale application of flexible support materials in desert areas in China , which started construction on October 16, 2021, covering an area of 100000 mu. The total investment is 11.15 billion yuan .
