On December 11, Huishan Economic Development Zone of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province and SINOMACH Machinery Industry Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (SINOMACH Machinery Survey Institute) successfully held the signing ceremony of "1GW Energy Storage Power Station" project investment.
The State Machinery Group Machinery Exploration Institute intends to build a 1GW capacity energy storage power station demonstration project in Huishan Jingkai District, with a total investment of about 2 billion yuan and a registered capital of 600 million yuan.
The project adopts the operation mode of "integration of source, network, load and storage". Through the overall solution and technology of power supply, power grid and load energy storage, it effectively improves the utilization rate of power resources in the jurisdiction and reduces the cost of power consumption in key enterprises, which is an important development path for building a new power system.
The project is led by Yingda Fund in cooperation with SINOMACH. SINOMACH was established in September 1952 and is affiliated to China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), a large central enterprise and one of the world's top 500 companies. SINOMACH has evolved from more than 70 scientific research and design institutes, equipment manufacturing and industrial and trade enterprises of the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. It has 29 secondary enterprises, more than 120,000 employees and 13 listed companies, ranking first among the top 100 in China's machinery industry for many years. This investment is located in Huishan Economic Development Zone of Wuxi City, where many energy storage enterprises such as Jingao Weilan and Shangneng Electric have settled down.
