On December 19, representatives of Ju'an Energy Storage and Changjiang Electric signed a contract to build a "1MW/8 MWh all-iron flow energy storage project" jointly by Hubei Changjiang Electric Co., Ltd. It will officially settle in Wuhan Optical Valley (Wuhan Donghu New Technology Industrial Development Zone), which also means that the world's first and leading all-iron flow energy storage technology will be applied to the construction of zero-carbon industrial park.
The all-iron-based flow battery adopts an environment-friendly alkaline aqueous solution system, has high safety characteristics and obvious cost advantages, and is not limited by mineral resources. According to Meng Jintao, chairman of Ju'an Energy Storage, the 1MW/8 MWh all-iron flow energy storage project, which is located in Changjiang Electric, uses multi-tank parallel storage capacity, and the energy storage time is up to 8 hours , which helps the construction of the park from "low carbon" to "zero carbon". It will play an important role in achieving the goal of "double carbon" and the transformation of energy structure in the future.
It is reported that the megawatt project is scheduled to be completed in 10 days. According to the
data, Ju'an Energy Storage, founded in 2021, is an enterprise in the fields of energy storage technology services, battery manufacturing, intelligent transmission and distribution, and control equipment sales. Changjiang Electric is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on intelligent energy planning and design, software development, equipment intelligent manufacturing, engineering construction and operation and maintenance services.
