On December 12, the project of sodium ion battery manufacturing base with a total investment of 5 billion yuan started in Guangde District of the Yangtze River Delta (Xuancheng) Industrial Cooperation Zone.
The project covers an area of 260 mu, with an annual output of 10 GWh sodium-ion batteries, which are constructed in two phases, of which the first phase plans a production line of 5 GWh, including three intelligent sodium-ion battery production lines, through the cooperation of intelligent robot transp ort and automation equipment, to realize the whole process of intelligent manufacturing from raw material input to finished battery core output. The single-line efficiency can reach 120 ppm, and it is expected to achieve mass production in the second half of next year.
The sodium-ion battery manufacturing base project is a key project of Guangde's new energy industry, which will become a new force to promote the development of Guangde's new energy, automotive parts and other industries, and inject new vitality and new momentum into Guangde's high-quality economic development. It is hoped that Qingna Science and Technology will concentrate its efforts, work hard and quickly, promote project construction with high standards and quality, and ensure that the project will be put into operation early and achieve early results.
