22 November, The unveiling and operation launching ceremony of the first offshore floating photovoltaic demonstration base jointly established by CIMC Jiguang Marine Science and Technology Yantai Co., Ltd. and the National Solar Photovoltaic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center was held in Yantai.
The base overcomes the cyclic loads of wind, wave and current and the complex offshore conditions of high salt fog, and can comprehensively demonstrate dozens of data such as water level, structural stress, light intensity, power generation, and key factors such as power generation efficiency, corrosion resistance of new materials, and wind and wave resistance of photovoltaic platform projects. In cooperation
with the National Photovoltaic Quality Inspection Center (CPVT), CIMC has built the first "offshore floating photovoltaic demonstration base" in the waters of Sishili Bay in the high-tech zone, and 46 string photovoltaic products of the first 25 enterprises represented by Longji Green Energy have been installed in place. It was connected to the grid on August 8 this year. Up to now, the demonstration base has successfully connected the first 400 kW semi-submersible offshore floating photovoltaic platform project in China and the world's first bamboo-based composite floating photovoltaic platform project "Jilin No.1" to carry out in-depth demonstration work. In the process of industrialization and transformation of new technologies and products successfully verified by offshore bases, land-based marine industrial parks are needed to carry them and form a land-sea coordinated development pattern.
It is understood that Zhongji Jiguang Marine Science and Technology (Yantai) Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Yantai Zhongji Laifushi Marine Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Yantai High-tech Construction Investment and Development Co., Ltd. to build Yantai Offshore Floating Photovoltaic Experimental Inspection Center.
