this period, the US government delegation went to the company three times to lobby Pan Jingong to go to the United States. The company also experienced a series of difficulties, such as bank loan withdrawal, suspension of mine development, closure of company accounts and loss of personnel. "At the most difficult time, there were only 29 employees left in the company with more than 300 employees." Pan Jingong sighed with emotion, "The process is really too difficult."
But in the end, Pan Jingong and his team's persistence finally ushered in the harvest period.
In 2016, Chengdu Cadmium Telluride Power Generation Glass Project was supported
by the National Development and Reform Commission's "Major Project to Enhance the Core Competitiveness of the National Manufacturing Industry". CNBM Chengdu finally succeeded in producing the world's first large-area cadmium telluride power generation glass (1)
In 2018, CNBM Chengdu's large-area cadmium telluride power generation glass production line was officially put into operation in Shuangliu, Chengdu, making China first country to independently own large-area cadmium telluride power generation glass, and the products were supplied to the market in batches and profitable in the same year.
In 2019, the technical theory of Chengdu CNBM Cadmium Telluride Power Generation Glass won the Edison Invention Award, the First Prize of Technical Invention of China Building Material Federation, and the New Material Award of the 21st International Industrial Exposition; it was selected into the Guiding Catalogue of the First Batch of Application Demonstration of Key New Materials issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology;
In 2020, the project won the title of "China's Good Technology" and was selected into the Green Technology Promotion Catalogue of the National Development and Reform Commission.
In 2021, the conversion efficiency of the production line of the project reached 16.
In 2022, the conversion efficiency of the laboratory reached 20.
In March this year, Chengdu China Building Materials Cadmium Telluride Power Generation Glass Project won the "Seventh China Industry Award".
